  • HOUSE OF VIS
Established in the Year of Our Lord MMXVII, the House of VIS is a communal home, the child-of-a-project-of-a-project-of-a-project of a collective of student visual artists based in Princeton, New Jersey. We constantly seek out new ways for personal expression and pursue our desires for an infinite learning process. With the construction of the Lewis Arts Complex, House of VIS is a reminder that we are in charge of building our own community, our own home, of setting down roots and creating meaningful connections, no matter where we are. House of VIS is dedicated to preserving the sanctity of the fourth floor and the senior studios, to sharing codes and plaster of paris in times of need. Between these four walls, and then some, lies our work and our hearts. We are grateful for the resources and opportunities we have been so fortunate to receive during our time at Princeton and we acknowledge that is now our turn to take responsibility for the establishment of independence of the VIS community.

House of VIS was constructed by Class of 2018 and the Class of 2019 Program 2 students over the course of two days. Come, enter our house. Look around, feel free to take a seat. You’re home.
